R22 Government Phase Out

We recommend considering the replacement of your old cooling equipment with systems that use ‘Earth Friendly’ 410A refrigerant. For systems less than eight years old, a conversion to Dupont M099 refrigerant is an option, although it may result in a slight reduction in cooling efficiency. Additionally, all mercury thermostats must be replaced to comply with current regulations.
